We do our cleaning in oversized commercial sized washers. This helps
to reduce wear and tear on your blankets while they are being cleaned. We use multiple wash and rinse cycles to aid
in deep cleaning.
All blankets are hung to drip dry after the
cleaning process. This will minimize shrinkage on most blankets. We will not put any blanket in the dryer We use Nature's Blend Blanket wash unless otherwise requested. Nature's Blend
is a Non-detergent, bio-degradable. Cleans blankets leaving water repellency intact. Specially formulated to clean nylon,
canvas, cotton, polyester, acrylic or denim blankets. Brightens colors, removes tough odors and leaves horse blankets looking
and smelling clean and fresh. If requested we will launder in Rambo Wash, Nikwax Rug Wash, or Microtek Blanket Wash. Horse Blanket Repair Some horse blankets look to be beyond repair. Some rips are so dramatic that many
horse owners simply throw away the items. In most instances, the repairs are reletively simple, although they may look
frightening at first.
More often than not it is far cheaper to clean and repair damaged horse clothing than to purchase new blankets. If we feel that a repair will cost more than an item is worth, or if we feel that an item is not worth repairing, we will always contact you for a final decision before beginning repairs. Repairs we do include: replacing leg straps, surcingle repair or replacement, new buckles, velcro or other
hardware, minor to major rips and tears, binding repairs, shoulder gusset repairs and much more. We can even do repairs
on shipping boots, saddle pads, hoods and other horse items.
